Climate Change

Once upon a time I was on the way looking on some Children who collected garbages out from the street. They are operated my themselves to do it. I thought that probably they are hired by Government or one Organisation of Environmental to clean the street but they told me it is because they’re collecting it for getting money.

Unrealizedly they have helped the world to reduce pollution and to change the climate..

I would like to do as like as they are doing…

One day I was asked to choose my research focuss by an NGO reffering to the social issues. I chosed prostitution as my observation object because it appealed to me and I knew them very much caused by my living place was  close into the location. I lived there for one year at my student organisation’s office so I watched and talked with them quitely often in the mid night.

I chosed one prostitute that she was stranger at that place and still young  25 years old. I tried to approach her and talked about her profession then engaged her to a small shop and she was thinking that I was a consumer of them and probably she would think that I was going to make what should be.

I was surprised that she had known me before we were talking and said : “you are a Christian and you always praise God by worshiping in that building at fridays but you like to talk with me and probably you are going to bring me out tonight”. I tried to explain her that I did not think as she was thinking about. She seriously quipped me and told to me that Christian is nothing for her. “I disappointed with the Church and Christians who do not want to respond what we are feeling as prostitutes, you would never know why we do this “job”, we have to feed our children by standing along on the street and waiting for guys who would like to give us money for and you only know how to worship your God and discuss our problems but actually you can solve it hardly” she said to me.

The main question remarked from this woman is that what  is the Churches’ role to help and how do the Churches respond to this situation?

I realized that I could not do anything in this such case. I was taught by my religion teachers while I was in high school that we should go to the Church at sundays then we would get a good grade of my studying. I was never taught we must look at the out side, what is happening and to feel what they are feeling. Do we just have to burden with our governments to solve this case or may hope that some organisations (NGO) will play their important roles.

I just want to share this text so we can answer the above questions in the reality. It is one of many problems we get of any case.
